This piece is my exploration of life’s unpredictability—how we sometimes leave things to chance, hoping that destiny will take care of the rest. It’s a visual conversation about those moments when we let go of control and allow things to unfold naturally.
The composition reflects this idea with its mix of structured shapes and flowing, organic curves. I used bold lines and forms to represent the push and pull between structure and spontaneity. The circular shapes remind me of life’s cycles—how certain themes, people, and opportunities seem to return when we least expect them.
In the center, the figure gazes outward, reflecting a sense of calm acceptance, as if she’s fully immersed in this process of surrendering to the unknown. The overlapping colors—warm golds and cool blues—show the emotional tension between hope and uncertainty, but there’s a harmony in that contrast.
I added abstract floating shapes to symbolize fleeting moments, ideas, and decisions that shape our lives in unexpected ways. This artwork is personal, but I want viewers to connect with their own experiences of serendipity—whether it’s a chance encounter, a change in plans, or a surprise outcome that altered their path.
Ultimately, Serendipity is about trusting that even when things don’t go according to plan, they can still lead to something meaningful.
