Medium: Graphite pencils and Acrylic paint on 45x45 cm pressed cardboard
In this mixed media portrait, I explored the concept of freedom through the subject’s serene yet powerful presence. Her gaze, steady and introspective, is complemented by the gentle movement of her hair, as though caught in a liberating breeze. The blue tones in the background were intentionally chosen to symbolize freedom and the expansive openness of the sky and sea, inviting the viewer to reflect on the boundless possibilities of the human spirit. The interplay of soft graphite shading with the dynamic strokes of blue and white creates a harmonious balance of calmness and energy, embodying both vulnerability and strength. This piece of mine is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and individuality.
