Amadeo Modigliani
Art, for me, is not just a practice but a dialogue with existence itself. My inspiration is rooted in the human experience, a thread woven with the questions and moments that have marked my personal journey. From an early age, I found myself captivated by life’s profound mysteries, asking questions about existence and searching for deeper meanings. These inquiries became the foundation for my artistic exploration, manifesting through my use of various media.
Nature has always been a profound influence in my work—not just as a backdrop, but as a living embodiment of energy, transformation, and continuity. Its cycles and mysteries remind me of the unseen forces that shape our existence. Similarly, my interest in mysticism has expanded my understanding of the intangible; it represents the connection between the physical and spiritual, the seen and the unseen. These elements fuel my desire to explore beyond the visible and the known.
I often ponder what a life’s journey would reveal if condensed into a single image. What truths could it share, and what might it leave unsaid? This thought shapes my approach to form and structure, especially in my depiction of human faces blended with abstract shapes. Faces, to me, are more than features; they are landscapes of emotions, histories, and silent dialogues. My lines, colors, and shapes emerge organically, reflecting the unpredictable nature of life itself. I rarely erase mistakes in my work, choosing instead to integrate them as part of the story—echoing the acceptance of flaws in our paths.
Each piece I create feels like a new journey. I don’t see my work as a set path but as a constantly evolving process, reflective of life’s changes. Just as experiences shape who we are, they reshape my art, infusing it with new meanings. Spontaneity is my guide, and through it, I aim to capture the raw, unfiltered essence of life’s complexities. My art is not planned in detail; instead, I trust the process to lead me, embracing every unexpected turn as an integral part of the final piece.
Through my art, I aim to invite viewers into this exploration of life’s unknowns. I want them to pause and see not just the art, but to feel it, to find their own questions within it. Who are we, truly? What is our purpose? Each painting and photograph holds an invitation to look deeper, reflect, and find connection—not just with my story, but with their own.
"A drawing is simply a line going for a walk."
